Use Of Technology

"The science of today is the technology of tomorrow"

At Sanskar International School, we believe technology has become a ubiquitous part of the educational process and students need to be taught how to responsibly and effectively use it to gather information, process it, put it to practical use and communicate the results.

At all grade levels we offer our student and teaching community access to expertise and the latest equipment that will enable them to leverage  technology as a tool across all areas of the curriculum.

We use state-of-the-art software to

- Record student progress
- Communicate with parents via SMS messaging
- Update news and calendar events onto the school's website

Blended learning is a term used to describe the way e-learning is combined with traditional classroom methods and independent study to create a new, hybrid teaching methodology.

The institution is now in a steadfast state to incorporate the usage of technology of Blended Learning in its teaching methods.

Now, projectors are being used on a regular basis to show relevant videos to the students; usage of tablets is being applied to enhance the research skills of the students, and projects based on the usage of multimedia are being given to encourage the pupils to learn in the way they like the most. No amount of technology used can ever substitute the need of the presence of a guide in the classroom. Having said that, all these technological devices help the teachers and the students to maintain pace with the ever-evolving times. These are a boon to the teaching process with their easy-to-use manuals and compatibility.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become an integral part of our daily life. SIS has reacted to the change positively and has established a modern ICT lab that has the latest hardware and software with high-speed Internet connectivity. The students are provided computer education programme that surpasses CBSE stipulations.

The school has forged links with a leading software company in the country to provide the learning modules designed exclusively for its students. Professionals assist the students to browse the Internet in a filtered way to gather information related to their projects and ever-changing technology. To improve the oral and written communication skills, the school has setup a Modern English Language Laboratory. The course content in phonetics contains graded oral exercises in pronunciation, stress and accent in the order of word, sentence, and discourse levels.
